HI Guys, I tried it and compared it with the old version of Plugin Alliance which has only one threshold mode, no dry/wet and no OS. To my ears the PA version sounds surprisingly better, not good, but better.. Vertigo's plugin on the other hand lacked dimensionality and produced a dull and flat sound, making it less engaging, boring, With the same settings, respecting the in-out signal values, the sound produced by VertigoSound was less detailed, deflated and spectrally too flat. I really struggled to sculpt the attack in the signal. It's as if everything was too softened and smoothed out.
Obviously don't take my test as gold. It was a very quick test. I didn't try any other material, but I analysed well the behaviour of this new plugin against a simple RAW track of acoustic drums recorded in the studio. I tried to pick up its musicality at low and clean Gain stage and different timing as well as at higher gain on inputs with slow and fast timing. I was so disappointed that I uninstalled it. I did the same thing with VSM4 and its PA counterpart (VSM-3) and I must say that here VSM4 wins big where VSM-3 always remains too HARSH. In any case, those who own the original hardware will always and surely see how these plugins always suffer on depth, three-dimensionality, width and low-end definition when you try to make any comparison. It's almost inevitable..

i installed those 3 Vertigo releases in AU and VST and only shows AU on DAW, and…..

when i choose one of those 3 AU to open, the DAW shows an error and shuts down the project.

if you use OS 10.15 and up, at least you should fix permissions, quarantine and codesign...

those Vertigo plugins doesn't work for me.

i installed both (AU and VST) but nothing happens here..
i'm running Sonoma on MBPro i7 processor.
