My problem with installing Waves R2R is the fact that I have to install all the plugins, because I use very few plugins out of the lot. And since the VR installations work fine, it's a great help.

With the Team V.R. releases you have the option to install only the plugins you want. As with all the V.R. waves ult releases the previous version needs to be cleaned well before starting the new install... this goes double if your previous version was R2R and you're installing V.R...

Clean Paths:
Your VST2, VST3, AAX plugins dir
C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\
%PROGRAMFILES%\Waves Central\
%PROGRAMDATA%\Waves Audio\
%APPDATA%\COSMOS\
%APPDATA%\Waves Audio\
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Waves Audio\
%PUBLIC%\Waves Audio\

=> search your system for "WaveShell*", and delete all instances
=> We always see people having problems with old shells which should be uninstalled before.

Clean Registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Waves\

What I do is go into Waves central and settings and run "Complete Waves Cleanup" and it cleans all of those files but it does delete all plugins as well

For some reason Waves Harmony completely breaks the sound when I use it. It sounds okay for the first 2 seconds, then it becomes an extremely high pitched screeching noise. This happens to both V.R and R2R versions - anyone else also have this problem? I'm on Adobe Audition.
