Still having the issue. Uninstalled with Revo uninstaller and multiple reboots but still closes after a few seconds

Edit: tried on a seperate computer and it works but had never installed the previous patch so maybe some how its not overwritten after full uninstall strange

For those of you ABOUT TO ROCK ... er, sorry - who can't get the patcher working, simply do this:
1. Go to C:\Program Files\Hit'n'Mix\RipX and right-click on the ripx.exe
2. Select Properties Tab
3. Select Compatibilities Tab
4. "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Windows 7
5. Select 'Apply'
6. Thank me profusely ;-)

After neither patch worked for me, I ran it in compatibility mode for Win7 - and it worked. Then I unchecked compatibility mode. And it still works.
