Thanks Team V.R. Is it necessary to uninstall the old files before installing the updates for the Arturia stuff? There are soooooooo many tiny files. Surely we can just overwrite them?

Overwriting Arturia Releases from V.R. did not work for me in Past, because many Presets are not shown.
I always uninstall the complete Arturia old Stuff bevor installing newer Versions.
It takes much Time, therefore i wait for a few Updates.

that would explain why I have quite a few missing/corrupted presets probably.
might have to do a full clean reinstall.
the most recent soundbanks include everything in previous ones or do you need all of them?
do you reinstall all their fx collection too when you do or are they separate enough that they won't mess with the other?

I make it like this:
1. Uninstall old Versions
2. Install Analog Lab V
3. Install Pigments
4. Install Synth V-Collection
5. Install Keyboards & Piano V-Collection
6. Install Augmented Strings/Voices/Bundle
7. Install Sound Banks Bundle
8. Install FX collection
8. Install Third Party Presets (for Analog V, Pigments, MiNi V3, Mellotron etc.)

Maybe Step 6. and 8. can be optional.
I don't think Arturia remove Soundbanks in newer Versions, but i'm not shure.
If you have DAW Projects with Arturia Releases than it would be important to install the new VST's to same old Directory, so you have to check the Places bevore uninstall the old Versions,
and you have to Backup self made Presets.

That wouldnt be fun, Ive done it before for a few libraries and it took ages.

If one 64 Preset bank uses for example 10 instruments then you have to put in the correct presets into 10 different folders, then the correct samples into 10 different sample folder. The Noises into the different folders and finally the image (which is the easy one). and that is JUST FOR 1 PRESET BANK PACK,
And theres 270 unlocked Arturia Sound Banks & 154 Third Party Sound Banks :)
Would probably take you a week to install :)

thats not quit right as arturia bundle 2023.1 CE-VR was last one you could just extract it all and place it where is needed with innoxtract.
however VR now put password for extraction as they did not like it
previously you could just copy and paste those presets once extracted with innoxtract, very simple and easy method

I have last V collection by R2R and last time i ran the exe from the VR bundle it did a mess with the presets so i always use innoextract but tis time i get only empty folders, i tried with Uniextract too but it asks for a password, did you find a workaround?

Lot of thanks for releasing this huge library.
An earnest wish, as much as many producers use sounds from this bundle in their projects most of them would wish to have an update release to the earlier soundbanks bundle so as not have to download the whole bundle again with every update.

Anyway all that said most respect to VR for all his untiring hard work and allowing us to audition sounds from this great bundle.

Out of interest can anyone state what the 14 new Arturia soundbanks are please?
I only ask because the last release, in May, had 256 banks and this one has 270. That's 14 new ones... but I can only see 8 new Arturia releases since May(Sunset Unwind was the last one, i believe, from the Arturia webpage). Unless they've added others from the 329 available banks...

They always release the newest ones from the website (as all the others are already in previous packs). All you need to do is look on the Arturia Website, as they are in order, with the newest ones at the top.

Useful tip:
on Synclavier samples bank "Hadra Trance Signature" all the samples with "Gelé" name will not load because there's a cyrillic character instead of the "é", change all the ctrillic characters with "é" and all the samples will load fine, same thing on CMIV samples bank "PatchWorks", rename all the "Gelé" named files.
Paths:
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Samples\Synclavier V\Factory\Hadra Trance Signature
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Samples\CMI V\Factory\PatchWorks

These files have this error since the first time they have been added, i suggest you to save these samples 'cause you will find the same exact error on the next release, next time you will not need to rename all these files again, just install and remove the wrong named ones and add the right ones :)
