what i'm saying is if you don't have any NI Hardware like Maschine+, MK2, MK3, etc or Komplete Kontrol keyboards, S49, S61, S88, then there's really no point in using the software. there's no benefit to using Maschine as standalone without the hardware as you'll be pointing and clicking to do what you're supposed to do on hardware but hey whatever works for you man

I agree, as only a software based DAW, Maschine is missing a lot of features and is literally one of the worst in the market. They don't care about basic user requests (they sell expansions ) and when they care, it takes ages (10 years, still no internal midi routing!). It's only useful with the hardware with its screen, knobs and pads to control plugins, NKS presets and mixing (limited in ins/outs, anyway). For that, it's quite unique.

let alone no MPE compatibility. This leads me to record my Roli in Studio One and export the WAVs into Maschine's sampler/audio engine. It's a workaround but damnit no MPE in 2023, plus they just added VST3 so they're far behind. I challenge myself with limitations of the environment that's why I strictly use Maschine though.

I heard they are doing a major overhaul on Maschine DAW, and it will have every function and great UI and UX as today's standards. It probably will be even better if you own a controller. I just hope it's the truth.

Sorry, I am using Maschine everyday – and I hve the controller – which is collecting dust basically. So what people are "supposed to do" with the software or the hardware or both it just your opinion – nothing more.

I stopped using my maschine mk3 and maschine2 Daw altogether. For some it may be second nature, for me the workflow was slowing me down and I was also struggling on how to do simple note editing operations in the grid, which is way easier on fl studio or S1 for example.

Also I preferred mixing the whole song on S1, specially if main vocals are involved. And syncing maschine2 with the daw also meant configuration issues.

So here it is at my left in the desk, collecting dust (it has a nice plastic cover at least!).

And I forgot to add that it crashes every time so badly when my computer wake from sleep, that no matter what I do, my sound card stay locked. And generally speaking, it's the only audio app that crashes regulary on my system. The Maschine ecosystem is a good idea, the implementation is like a toy. After all these years, there are no more excuses. They simply don't care about the software.
If it's used only to play loops (and selling expansions), maybe it's ok and it's for what it's done (maintained).

i installed over the 2.16 and loaded project and no issues

edit: except soem newer libraries as far back as Concrete Sun are not activated though

you are correct, I tried concrete sun, for example, and asks to register via native access, even after replacing the .xml. This needs a fix bob but we know you can do it, thanks.

I'm having a problem with the Sacred Futures expansion too... also Borough Chops and Freeform and Young Phantom expansions... says "not activated"

Looks like it's a KEYGEN issue... I got hold of the most recent R2R keygen from Audioz which is the one supplied with Maschine 2 v2.14.3, and of these expansions only Sacred Futures was listed, so I ran the keygen just for that expansion and bingo it worked!

The other expansions are not listed in this keygen it seems, which is why they won't work and say "unactivated" as not registered.

Any chance of an updated keygen from R2R, including all the most recent expansions guys? Would be great thanks!
