Do you need to install the Massive library to make this work?

I have a strange thing going on in EZdrummer 3 that I think did not happen in EZ2. With DFH (Drum Kit from Hell), the midi with it (1.5.0 is what I have) has the kick drum showing on C1 key only, when it seems it should be C1 (36) right kick and Bb0 (34) and/or B0 (35) as well for the left kick according to the Toontrack mapping. As a result of this only the right kick is triggered in the midi. There is a VERY slight difference in timbre between the left and right kick to my ears (which makes sense as a real drummer would hit them slighly diffrently depending on thier dominant hand/side), so it doesn't sound quite right with only the one kick playing like a machine gun. Yeah, I could go through every single midi pattern that uses double kick in the package when I use them and alernate them to be L/R in a midi editor (I use Reaper 6 so it's built in can do this) but that seem pretty silly to have to do when the kit should be playing both kicks alternately in a double bass pattern such as it did in EZ2. Something is diffrent in the way EZ3 is handling this older file than EZ2 did as the kick worked correctly there.

Anyone who has both EZ3 and DHF wanna test this and see if they can figure out a fix for it? I've tried playing around with assignments (even tried to assign both kicks as C1 which EZ3 will not do) but can't figure out how to make it work properly without manually editing every pattern.

I'm trying to get EZdrummer 3 to work with the Funkmasters v1.54, Hip-hop and Dance EZXs , they all have errors when trying to load, the errors are related to Midi files/database and states about having to update through the Toontrack app.

I've also installed the EZdrummer 3 Core Library Update 1.0.1.
Has anyone got this work with the above EZXs? I was thinking about trying to install EZdrummer v2 instead, to try get the legacy EZXs listed above to work. Im not sure if v3 is needed for the early EZXs, does anyone know which is compatible with v2 and which need v3?
I'd really appreciate you sharing your knowledge regarding a fix for this.

Ive also tried with Superior Drummer 3, along with the core library update, and get the same errors as EZdrummer 3.

Ive recently insllaed a new Samsung SDD and then installed Windows 11, so Toontrack software was installed on a clean system.

Hmm...on my Windows 7 system (I have old EZ drummer ezx files) it says they all need to be reinstalled. Yikes.

For all who don't need or won't install the new Soundbanks of the new
Massive EZD 3 Library (14GB).

If you have an older EZD 2 installed, you can install this Full Version 3.0.6 without any problems.
It will recognize and see the EZD 2 Soundbanks (Modern and Vintage) and you can use it with this Version.
This Pack includes an updated and new MIDI Pack Bundle.

Works with only the old EZD 2 Soundbanks like a charm.
Maybe the new EZD 3 Sound Library has some better Sounds

But no need to install for me.

Anyone know how to uninstal it? cos install directly this vers, work well. but no soft find by revo or windows soft management
