Prepare your C:\ProgramData folder by creating a new folder inside with the title, Sonic Academy -so, now you should have C:\ProgramData\Sonic Academy

On your external drive, or any other location you plan on using permanently, make a folder Sonic Academy. It can be anywhere, starting deep into folders if you want, or at root instead. Create a folder inside Sonic Academy you just made - name it ANA 2

Install the x64 Link Shell Extension if not installed yet: https://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/hardlinkshellext.html#contact

Restart Windows Explorer, log out then in, or reboot. One of the three.

Go to your folder you created called ANA 2. Right click on it and choose, "Pick Link Source"

Go to C:\ProgramData\Sonic Academy and right click on any empty space, choose "Drop As" "Symbolic Link."

Now, install V.R's release. Done.

Easy way for symlink:

1. Copy the library where you want, then delete it from where it was.
(If you dont delete it you will receive an error message)

2. In windows search box write: cmd, right click on the command prompt icon, chose "run as administrator".

3. copy this and paste it there:
mklink /d "THE EXACT PATH WHERE THE LIBRARY WAS" "THE EXACT PATH WHERE IT IS NOW"

4. Write the paths or copy paste them from explorer.

5. Press enter

As you see, nothing too complicated ; )
