I think if they don't release new plugins, there will be people whining about it.
And if they do, there will be people whining about it.
I mean, as far as I know they are not forcing their plugin down my throat, so it's my choice.
And if I'm not wrong, it is it is free here at the sister site.

Hello aeay2007 can you please help me with the installing process of waves from the starting point as I haven't installed it before. I don't have the knowledge about this as it's installing process is different from other vst's (very different). It will be very helpful if you teach me the process ☺️. I have already checked your comment in https://audioz.download/software/216490-download_waves-complete-14-v170822-win.html but it doesn't work. So plzz teach me like a kid in this 😅

Same Problem as treblainesyh: no Lil Tubes/BB/Spherix in Cubase 12 /Ableton Live 11
It seems like some waveshells (14.1 and 14.6) are not scanned properly.
Waiting for Christmas, so that all those new plugins will be encapsuled in a full something. At least some of them...

Yea same here in Cubase 12. its in the Black list as "not a valid plugin".......... lets see if feature releases has a fix for that.

Same here as the previous release, no Lil Tubes and now in this release no BB Tubes showing up in Studio One 6.
As mention above some waveshells are not scanned properly, hoping for a future fix or a new R2R release soon cause their last release worked flawlessly...

For bb tubes, Lil tubes, n Spherix
A. Download them all from Waves Central Online then patch 14.6
B. Download or create an offline installer of just them 3.
Then Install the rest from this VR release or the last VR release ( Waves 15.11.22) over it. Patch V14.6.
C. Create an offline installer of just lil tube, bb tube, spherix.

Do a clean install.

(or clean install the 3 from waves central online)

Copy the new files it installed in

Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins (Files)
Program Files\Common Files\VST3 (Files)

& copy the folders it created in

Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\ (Folders)
Program Files (x86)\Waves\Data (Folder)
Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V14 (Folder)
Program Files (x86)\WavesShells V14 (Folder)
Program Files (x86)\Common Files\WPAPI (Folder)

Save them.

Uninstall everything.

Do a clean install of R2Rs last release.

Paste the files and folders from earlier into the same path.

Patch with VR14.6

Run your DAW.

The only down side is, you lose the Preset Browser. You keep your presets and you could still use them from the drop down menu. But the preser browser is no loneger available. Let me know if someone finds a way around this. Thanks.

its a A, B or C Method. Not a A,B, & C method. Im guessing the large GB downloads are for new users that are not familiar with the waves central and VR patch method. I used to have trouble with the instruction process too until aeay2007 broke it down for us.

How come the R2R "waves complete "releases are about 5GB instead of 11GB of P2P and V.R. .???

R2R omits the "Waves Audio Factory Pack" which is the content for the newish (past year or two, new) CR8 Sampler & Cosmos, and I am sure there are other tweaks. Maybe they delete all the Linux stuff. That's a good almost .5 GB alone.

As I told in the past, after any install of Waves, you can go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves, then type Linux in the top right search box, then click in any open space of the Windows Explorer, Ctrl + A selects all, then press Delete key. Nothing "good" will be deleted.
