OK, maybe I can help?
Here is what I've done and has worked for me on Catalina + Intel + Logic.
So my example is OK with component only.
You will have to reproduce this if you installed VST, etc.
I'm not saying this is the perfect method, but just that it worked for me.

After you've done Moria's stuff until the end, including replacing the plugins :

Open terminal.
Type :
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - [including space at the end]

After the space, drag your component into Terminal's window, which should make the whole path appear, like :

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Stutter\ Edit\ 2.component

Validate and enter you admin password if needed.

Do the same thing with these 2 instructions :

sudo xattr -cr [including space at the end][path to the plugin]

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine [including space at the end][path to the plugin]

Restart your Mac.

Open Logic, the plugin gets validated.

Good luck ! :-)

thank you mate, this is pretty straightforward.
I usually copy this kind of stuff and let it in the backup folders where I keep my keygens and other stuff (goldfish memory ).

won't be using this release, I have a functioning version I barely use already, but your explanations are clear and might help someone else.

have fun

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Stutter Edit 2.component: resource fork, Finder information, or similar detritus not allowed

After following Harlock999's instructions and restarting, the Stutter Edit 2 component now makes Ableton Live 11.2.6 crash and close every time I try to open it

Waw, that's a complicated install.

Too much for me, i don't even understand which files must be replaced (looked for stutter edit.vst3 on my disk after installing the official trial version and didn't find it).

Crashing Ableton 11 - Mac Ventura (CORRECTION - FIXED)

I took another user's advice and then ran the first code again after the first go was unsuccessful. after doing all the aforementioned steps and restarting - it worked now
