this looks super awesome! i can't code worth a damn but love that this has a ton of examples included. sadly it cannot handle midi yet. i also recommend people check out the free "plugdata" - for audio and midi, etc. a vst3 wrapper for puredata so you can patch right inside the daw. and it uses objects that mirror max so its a little like having max for live in your daw:

That's an official Github domain, I wouldn't be *too* concerned but reading the network traffic you send out might be the only way to be sure.

Software Freedom Conservancy calls FOSS-developers to boycott and leave Github because of recent developments with Microsoft.
So yes, I'm a bit concerned.

If you mean the Github Copilot controversy, then rest assured they're not selling YOUR data or profiting off of you directly from this controversy. There is nothing inherently malicious about your computer connecting to a Github server. If I had to guess, this online check is in place to check for updates and/or check for licenses for their paid Formula Cloud service. Not that I don't agree that it SHOULD run offline, but at least there seems to be a valid reason for it.

Microsoft is harvesting code legally on it's own Github, and now also DSP code from forced online development tools, so the investment pays back due to exploiting free development resources around the world.
