is anyone having problems with the installer? big sur here..

Please find the file required.

edit: can't install it on big sur.. even if i install it on mojave and copy all to big sur.. it crashes .. =( .. tried everything wihout luck if anyone knows how to make it work on big sur I will thank you alot ¡ Thank you CE V.R. ¡ for helping us ¡ this I waited for years

You will need to run these terminal commands.

sudo chmod -R 755 *xxx.pkg*
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine *xxx.pkg*
chmod 777 *xxx.pkg*

Most of the recent pack's installers won't open on M1 Monterey. Bummer. chmod +x the root file in the app contents/macos folder, and then it launches via terminal and installs normally, what a pain.

thanks for the share, but uninstalled it. useless mess.

Thanks for sharing.
I was able to install the plugin and factory library (Big sur, Intel).
However, the plugin crashes sometimes when switching the presets. Kinda annoying.

how? can you share how did you do it?.. me I get an error and if a find the script it does not install "ok". only vst.. not au..

EDIT: fixed. I delete all the files from .bfd3 from my mac os .plist etc ...folders and reinstall it.. now it works.. in intel big sur.. Logic Pro lastest.. Thanks ' i still got some strange problems to install it but fix it if you find the .script.. in the folder..

How did you do it? How do you install packs? I want to install Evil Drums but installer won't run, only the plugin has installed nicely but with no libraries installed, well, it's useless.

How does BFD3 stack up to Addictive Drums and Superior Drummer? Have used those two for a long time but have no familiarity with this one. Either way, big thanks to Team V.R, it's fantastic they have been doing more Mac releases since SP3, very grateful!

I'd say it's 50/50. I've found some familiarity in BFD but there's still quite a learning curve. I love the sound quality but it's never been comfortable for me to use. The GUI feels like a mess.
If you're able to correct me, then you understood me fine in the first place. prick.

I dont see too many people talk about Perfect Drums. I really like that one, but have landed on Addictive drums due to the amount of different sounds you can get. Perfect drums just has a really good clean processed sound to theirs, great for just jamming with a gutrist to come up with tunes. Then addictive drums to get a good sound for the "recording"

Standalone works but unfortunately AU does on Monterey 12.04 with Logic 10.7.4/Rosetta only (M1) – thank you anyway hidera!

Working on M1 here. Had to follow grdh20xgman's advice to install it on my MacBookPro. Standalone is working. Working on Logic 10.7.4 on Rosetta mode only as confirmed by JohnEncore.

I just installed the program and the core content. Compared against EZ Drummer or Groove Agent or Steven Slate Drums so far meh, but will install other packs and see.

AAX working perfect in PT 2022.4.

Edit: For those of you who have been relying on Blue Cat's PatchWork or Metaplugin to run SD3 or AD in legit Pro Tools, this BFD3 release is a massive breathe of fresh air. Although the GUI and layout is far from intuitive, the ability to run this native in Pro Tools is an upgrade. The kits sound amazing and the articulations sound far more natural than what I notice in SD3.

I did the Terminal deal but the install folder is what i didnt understand. Need more steps in the description in my opinion.

I forgot even had BFD3. Love that Marching Band Pack. Those are some massive sounding low end drums.
