Me? I reckon they sound great. Ive used the saxes in several productions and when used correctly, they sound amazing.

Saxes were the first SWAM instruments and they have come a long way in terms of expression and sound. The point is that people had tremendous hope the tech behind it would benefit more complex instruments like woodwinds and strings but timbrically they are still not mature imho.

Because the sound is very static if you dosnt apply some controllers to make them move. People that do like me ( I love them with a seaboard but used before with regular controller) love them. Some not keyboardist that program note by note in a DAW gonna hate them.

Does anyone know how to set a default midi mapping? Id like to set the the Midi controller to to expression and pitch bend so evertytime I open an instance I can use my midi keyboard controller without always needing to go into the preferences and change the midi device

I've done that sort of by setting those midi settings as "default" in various DAW's. Then you have to remember to move the wheel to get sound activated.

I started installing the swam bundle and first chose to install the swam flutes. To my dismay, a window appeared in the middle of the installation telling me that installation is not possible. I attach the screenshot of the window hoping that someone can enlighten me.

Don´t forget to disable SIP. I had the error too (not finding a spcific folder), it works nevertheless- Be careful doing all steps in Terminal.

Is disabling SIP absolutely required, or is it working for folks with SIP still enabled?
