SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS.

No, this library cant be used in EZDrummer 2, because it uses the new features of EZDrummer 3. But I would guess (from past releases) that V.R will release the Mac Version soon

I think you need a SD3 update to v3.3.0 as the current v3.2.8 doesnt even SEE the libraries (normally it says they wont work on a lower version, but EZD3 libraries dont even show up in SD3)

Edit - Ive just passed the SD3 Update v3.3.0 to V.R via my contact (as we always do for the Toontrack Updates), so I'm sure we see the cracked version (for Windows and Mac) very soon and then the EzDrummer 3 libraries should work in SD3.

Install of EZDrummer 3 Core libraries can only be to default location. Tried installing them to my non-default D: Data drive and EZDrummer 3 can't find them. The option to "Locate Folder" is greyed out in Libraries/Paths tab so can't manual tell EZD3 where my libraries are placed.

Unless there's some OS specific problem you may have.

I tried on mac to see if it will install and it would not on M1. After codesign and batchmod installer app would not open, nor the V2 updates either.

?? That's the v2 core library for v3.

You would first need to have installed EZD3 before adding this core library here, you know ?
Same with your "v2 updates" AKA the v2 core library: no EZD2/3, no library install.
I seem to remember that TT stuff tells you that no EZD/SD/EZB/EZK can be found, and then it will quit the installer.

I'm just saying the install "apps" won't open, even v2 updates. Says can't open on your system. Maybe I got a bad download or the codesign is off on M1's,

Would a kind soul please share how the heck do you open the Installer? It gives me the "the application installer can't be opened" when double clicked and when right clicking and closing open. Not privilege thing cause it does not show on System Prefs/Security&Privacy. Catalina user here.


frist try CTRL + right click

if not, do this and then run with either double click or CTRL + right click:

xattr -cr installer.app
sudo codesign -f -s - installer.app
chmod -R 775 installer.app

Before anyone asks further about using this in SD3 - The add library path does not see the new files as being valid so it is almost a sure thing there will be an SD3 update to facilitate this.

After installation you can move files to another directory and make directory symbolic link. I'm using all EZD and SD libraries like that for ages. If you want to move all libraries or future installations you can create "c:\ProgramData\Toontrack" directory symbolic link, if you just want to move EZD libraries "c:\ProgramData\Toontrack\EZDrummer" etc. You must be careful cause if you do it wrong you will lose all files in that directories.
