Im wondering if this has been updated or its exactly the same as the EZDrummer 2 Core Library, as they have released this to buy for EZDrummer 3 (called Modern/Vintage), Im wondering if it uses the new features of EZDrummer 3 better or has updated things, like graphics, etc?

This is old EZD2 library. EZD2 discontinued, no more any updates about VSTI or library. If anyone dont have EZD2 installation but want to use EZD2 library they can use this library with EZD3.

He seems to be saying the new standalone opens slower.
Libraries are only loaded after you choose one and load it.
This is the core library of v2, to be used with v3.
The new 14GB core v3 lib is what you want, but not necessarily what you need. These two Modern and Vintage are quite capable, I found. Two of the better libraries, I'd say. They had to be, being the core libraries.
I don't need VST3, so until they release the new libraries, probably soon eh, then I will move to EZdrummer 3. Maybe.
The Clavichord is from the Late Middle Ages. It's not a Clavinet.

Xupito, the standalone EZD3 is underpinned with a VST3 instead of a VST2 that was in EZD2.
I tested EZD3 in the DAW and the difference was negligible - maybe 1 second or less.

Everything seems to work to me .... the installers included in this release have automatically updated the Ezdrummer 2 library already installed in my mac and everything goes as expected. If I really have to make a note, is that it would be necessary to update from version 2.2.2 to 2.2.3 to read the latest library released by Toontrack (EZX2_Dance) but perhaps it will not be necessary since we have version 3; I just have to install it and check!

Same here all is fine but no EZX2_Dance till update from version 2.2.2 to 2.2.3

I was able to fix this by changing the Aversion file in dance from 2.2.3 to 2.2.2 by
making a new executable file. Look up How to Create an Executable File in Terminal on Mac
on youtube, it's easy.

You're right ... it works! I hadn't thought of this trick ... Anyway it's sufficient to open the 'Aversion' file contained in the 'EZX2_Dance' library folder with TextEdit, change 'minreq EZ 2.2.3' to 'minreq EZ 2.2.2', save the change and the game is done. The file always remains an executable even if editing is done via TextEdit.

PS: To be safe, make a copy of the original 'Aversion' document and then rename it to 'Backup_Aversion' and place it in the EZX2_Dance expansion folder.
