Convex is a multi-effects processor designed to facilitate the creation of contorted artifacts, syncopated patterns and skewed digital textures.

Based around three classic effects; multimode filter, pitch shifter and delay, Convex generates dynamic variations of the input signal by crossfading between two instances of each effect and modulating their key parameters using an extensive array of control modules.

From mellow dub delays to mind-blowing glitch sequences, Convex brings a broad range of exciting effects to your sound design arsenal.

Convex features two Pitch Shifters, two Digital Delays and two Multimode Filters. You can crossfade between each instance of the processors, making it possible to create complex morphing effects. Driving its core are 4 LFOs with optional tempo sync and 2 envelope followers which can have their output inverted or combined using mixers and multipliers.

Several key parameters can be modulated using the LFOs, envelope followers, mod mixers, mod multipliers and mod inverters. These parameters feature dedicated mod source menus and depth knobs. Aside from processing audio signals within your DAW, real-time processing of external signals is especially interesting in combination with the envelope followers.

If your having trouble installing the presets on a Mac.

Use pacifist to install them.

The presets appear as an installer package within the mac installer, so no need to extract with Pacifist.
(For new mac users, Pacifist only extracts; it doesn't "install" as mentioned in above comment).

Wrong. Pacifist extracts but it also installs. In fact as an installer it's one of the best if not the best. Basically, it installs what it can read from the original installerbundle , as well as checking for the presence of the same files already on the target and also seeing in advance where the files will be placed. Finally you can choose to extract the entire contents of the installation package to a folder of your choice. It also allows you to install only what you want, even if the original installer does not give you any options. So .... if Zytto wrote "use Pacifist to install presets", I think the reason is that the destination of the presets is in the user library, which sometimes, due to some user mix-up, can have permissions issues. Pacifist often gets around this kind of problem.

Perhaps because everything that we extract with Pacifist involves admin password.

But the presets have their own installer and didn't actually require any system password, but the main installer did require it.
So I doubt anyone will have the problem you describe above? Or even need Pacifist, considering there is a Presets installer. Just trying to make it easier for new users.
Plus, people should hopefully be the highest level admin on their own system I think!

Maybe the problem can occur when the original permissions of the home folder and its subfolders have been changed, for whatever reason... user error, a poorly built installer, etc., there can be many examples. For example, I once had an installer for a fucking Logitech mouse that literally screwed up the permissions on my entire HD and while the OS, when you reboot, fixes the system permissions, it doesn't do the same for the home folder. With Pacifist, the permissions assigned to the files contained in the bundle are respected even if some overfolder has the wrong permissions.

We installed presets with pacifist.

yes i install them with pacifist but nothing.. when i change the presets in the AU nothing changes if I hit the random button it does work and save my own.. just the presets don't work here in my case don't know why but don't worry ¡ the AU works 100%
