Very interesting. I wil check this out, but Bootsie (VarietyOfSound) now have a x64 version of BaxterEQ, a supreme version of this EQ.

The high filters on Baxter is much better than this one for sure. The filter shape looks much more like a real baxandall EQ. It's totally clean though, so if you want that tiny amount of third order harmonics you would have to go with BXQ.

Both are excellent freeware EQ's anyways :)

The bass and treble on a hifi are usually a Baxandall EQ circuit.
Probably the most common type of circuit, ins't it?
It's never been hard to use his maths.
The 2 good plugins I know of are Acustica Coral Bax EQ, and Fuse Audio Labs RS-W2395C.
The Clavichord is from the Late Middle Ages. It's not a Clavinet.

hey thanks for the recommendation. i've heard good things about the fuse audio labs stuff! interesting that all hifi bass and trebles are baxandall, that's super common and widespread then!

The Fuse Audio one is insanely good as well! It's based on a Roger Schults 500 module and isn't maybe meant for mastering first and foremost, so it's a bit hard to compare them. The Fuse Audio one has saturation (very nice one) while VoS Baxter is completely clean. Baxter has a lot more frequency settings for the shelfs, and the high shelf is just perfect for a mastering baxandall plug-in! On the other hand, it's something you could recreate with Pro Q-3 with just one or two mouse clicks.
