This! I wish they kept all sounds (maybe except grand piano) into a separate package. If I want to see how something sounds, I prefer to bind them together with the instrument I'm going to use...

What I do is reencode in minimum flac quality the sound library (mono, 16 bit, 22K). It still works

when you purchased this, what did you get in terms of tangible files?
Did you just get an installer file that then downloads every thing, or did you get the whole 1gb ?( download).
I can see it's up for sale at 40 pounds - so I'm considering getting this, but I want to be sure that I get the whole lot that I can store on an external disk that I can always come back to if my pc were to crash etc, rather than k a link that only works for a year or so.

I didnt need to use the license file. I just dragged the DLL files over. I had the latest R2R version previously installed. Works windows 10 Studio One latest

But then you lost all new content thats why the installer is 1 GB big and the dll and vst's only 33mb if it was only a matter of overwrite the dll,vst3 the installer would be less than 100 mb

Oh, when I said 'Did this', what I actually did was just reinstalled the app on top of the R2R release *then* dragged the dll files over. I'd read the release notes so I knew there was new content that I'd need to have installed.

Please, can somebody tell me how a scaler plugin ends up being nearly a freakin' Gigabyte in size??!!! Would have thought a plugin such as this could have been coded in under 10 MB!!

But, I still agree with jordan77's & italoknox's comments earlier... That being, to make the sounds an optional extra and a separate download for those who want them.
