What's the difference between this and the other one?

It is a new Waves Central & Patch.
I am not sure what is the difference in those parts, but if one wants to just install a few things, or make one's own custom installer, it is nice.
I assume you can use the other "Waves" as the installer source.
I noticed that it also had a VR patch though...
Here is the info:

The difference i notice is the other one includes a "fixme.cmd" in the "VR Patch" folder.
(to remove the "ProgramData\Waves Audio\Waves Local Server" folder.)

The Waves Central & VR Patch files have same CRC.
If the VR patch already removes the folder, i wonder why the "fixme.cmd" (or manual removal) is necessary (?)
This package does not have such a file and no instructions to manually remove it (as needed with the old R2R fix)

I have not tried this but I will look and see.
If the included VR patch removes the folder then the fixme.cmd is not needed as far as I can guess.

No matter what you think of V.R. and their "buggy" cracks. But their Waves License Engine is the best Waves crack in my opinion. I just open Central and install whatever plugins I need and then patch them. Then, if I need 1 more plugin, I easily install it again through Central and patch it again. Easiest and most trusted way for me. And no need to download gigabytes of plugins that I will never even open in my life.


ps. I'm still using Waves License Engine from 2019. Everything works great.

Please note: The V13 update includes plugins only.
It does not include Waves applications
(eMotion LV1, SuperRack, StudioRack, SoundGrid Studio) which remain V12.
However, V13 plugins are fully compatible with and will work in V12 applications.

Couldn't install it since the instructions doesn't match the installation process. The instructions say "Press "Install Product" => "All Products" (or select "Offline installer" if have prepared installer*)", but it doesn't moves into that stage without logging in. Did someone successfully install this?

Edit: it installs just the plugins (all of them). You only have to run the patching then with no additional action and all gonna work.

from v12 to v13 with these little changes, fixes....

before someone special intelligent took
over waves these changes would have
been 12.x

now they, waves, try to create the illusion
of huge improvements with a lot of text
and graphic for v13...instead of 12.x which
doesn't look as good as 13...
