Interesting.
It's top panel looks a lot like Ableton.
Great look so far.
It just needs to add oversampling.

Oversampling up to 8X is already there.

Interesting. I'm on 1.40.0 on macOS from a few years ago.
Was it renumbered as per this release when Windows was catered for?

Its "top panel"? I fail to see what you mean, or the relevance if it were true.

Just like DDMF Metaplugin or Gig Performer, so far it's always looked like this.
The Clavichord is from the Late Middle Ages. It's not a Clavinet.

That's somehow not easy to tell in retrospective.
AFAIK the business model changed more than once. There used to be a "Pro" version for some time, paid via Patreon. Maybe those versions started from 1.0.0 for that time.
As of now all versions are labelled v0.xx.x, as you can see on GitHub (it's open source) >> https://bit.ly/3fBW2KH
On the Kushview homepage the history of Element starts with v0.9.0 posted on November 2, 2017 >> https://bit.ly/3hMUUqy
And the version numbers there never reach v1.0.0.

So, not that easy to tell why there are existing v1.upwards numbers

Ah! Thank you, Sir.
I couldn't understand but "open source" explains it.
Mine is a paid for version, and this one is free.
Should this one say free in the title?

"Free or not" is a bit tricky in this case.
Yes, it's open source, but the only way to get it for free is to compile the code from GitHub yourself. You can't get an ready-to-use installer for free. For downloading each new version released you have to pay for. It's only 2$ for a single download, but nevertheless, you need to pay for it. Or have a monthly paid subscription to get access.
Personally I wouldn't call it freeware.

Could you please tell me if you can find a date in the properties of your 1.40.0 version?
Could help to solve the puzzle why there are v1.xx numbers. I'm suggesting your version is equal to what would be v0.40.0 nowadays. I guess after the "Pro" version failed commercially (that's what I think) the dev gathered everything he had and went on all-in-one with v0.xx.x numbers again.

You're right in everything.
The most important part is the one from above. Technically is not free since you have to compile it. Despite the fact you can do it with free tools.
I'm also curious to know what is different in the pro version.
[2009] Sorry for my English. I'm working on it
[2017] I'm beginning to improve. Hell yeah, I'm a fast learner :D

2nd day i use this awesome software under S1 5.2.

This perfectly adds what Studio One should have since version 3.
Unlimited combinations between Midieffects - VSTi and FX.

no crash so far either.

FL Studio has something like this build in. Called patcher.
Love the possibilities and how you can go beyond the developers given parameters.
For example you can go M/S to a plug in that does not support it.
Definitely will try it.
