A perfect room?
Classic algorithmic reverb plugins use a combination of short feedbacking delays to create the illusion of reverberation. These delays cause unwanted metallic resonances and sharp spikes in the reverb’s frequency response.

The denise team challenged themselves to create something better - a perfect room - and invented their TXVerb™ technology. Using this technology, the denise Perfect Room doesn’t use delays for the tail. Its technology allows for highly creative use, different sounds, and can enhance the character and colouration of any audio you run through it in an extremely natural way, sounding defined and tight from the lowest kick all the way up to the highest vocal.

People seem to be impressed... so I will try that one.
What bugs me: Those guys are really like "when you do it like the others you get a metallic sound in your reverb". That's something lexicon has overcome in the eighties (and so did quantec).
At that moment I'm like "cool, you've found a solution to something others overcame 40 years ago. what else can you tell me about your awesome product".

I have installed both Perfect Room and Dragon Fire, both perfectly working, but in PT 2018 they appear in different manufacturer categories (Denise and denise).

Yes, you can. I apparently already had the pre-activated denise bundle from a year ago already installed (and had forgotten about) when I installed this one. It wrote over the older install with no problem -- just make sure to follow the instructions provided, as the pre-activated bundle didn't create a "Denise" folder when I installed it, and this release definitely requires that you create the folder and put the license in it in order to work.

Best to uninstall any previous version first.
I thought that I could install over the Synthicate 1.0.0 version.
NOPE-----------
The DLL for this one gets placed in a "Denise" folder in the "...Program Files\Common Files\" folder. The 1.0.0 was not placed in a "Denise" subfolder.
Same issue with "God Mode", for anyone updating that.
Vendor subfolders is how ALL vendors OUGHT to do it, but alas...

And there is also difference in the naming...
If you WANT to run both versions, you can leave the old one, but otherwise, uninstall it first
