The sound in the video is actually not that great. Quite a few sims sound like this nowadays. Will tahnkfully test the product, though

They have cracked the code for premaps long ago and fankly if you compare lots of ampsims thrue the same IR and the same poweramp using the same preamp they try to emulate they sound almost the same.
Its the cab that they havent cracked the code to yet and that is the cab YOU hear aka amp in the room sound.
Miced up cabs they have fixed.
Of course there is other very subtle things sonically and "feel" wise that analog gear does have that they somehow cant reproduce but if you can live with that no need for a tube amp.
Years ago i did a ampsim test of many amspim we had back then all knobs on 12 o clock and i runned them thrue the sema IR (a matched cab IR = a fender amp had a fender 2x12 IR) and they sounded almost the same you could tweak to sound the same as a pot will never react the same way on to amps even if it is the same model.

Well, then your mileage varies a lot. I own a Revv G20 and even running it through the same IRs w/ the built in TwoNotes then XLR into DAW/monitors verssus this plugin w/same IRs....they are not similar at all. To each their own though, it's all subjective at the end of the day. Regards.

Well did you use the same poweramp?
The poweramp does alot to the sound that plugins cant reproduce unless you run it thrue the same poweramp.
Also dont expect to think you can have the same setting on both you have to dial in the plugin and when you get there the setting can be very different comapred to the hardware.
And of course they dont sound EXACTLy like eachother not even two real amps do that but they should sound similar.
Wonder how much the version 2 has improved sonically?
