Is there a KG or something with this? For me, Omni is now asking to be reactivated, and the old one I got with v2.0.0 fails to patch this new .dll file.

Aha, it's not the .dll in the VSTPlugins folder that needs patching, it's the one(s) in C > ProgramData > Spectrasonics > Plugins.

Unfortunately it still asks for an activation code that is obtained from Spectrasonics as DJK mentions below.

Yep same here, Omnisphere doesn't give up a hardware ID like the old one.
Can't patch with keygen and useless as there's no hardware ID.
Re-install your old version as this has just made you touch your toes with a very unpleasant surprise

I managed to get this working but it's just keyscape and trilian that are not working now.

I just repatched the component (After copying to my desktop) then replaced it and it worked without having to generate response etc.

No, if you go to Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components then find the Omnisphere file, copy that to your desktop then patch it with the keygen. Once successfully patched you can then drag it and replace the file and that should work, it did for me.

Yeah, I've just reinstalled v2.6.2 back over the top of this one, repatched the dll in ProgramData as I described above, and the challenge code screen was there again.

So it's not a massive pain to roll back :)

But hopefully R2R or another group will come up with something for this new system.

Yeah hope so, glad you rolled back ok at least you can still use it. I've tried to roll back keyscape but not working so got a few hours of investigations etc ahead of me haha!

The licensing has changed and no challenge code is given for the keygen to work.
Restore from Time Machine the parts (vst, component and Steam Omni folder stuff . Will need to wait for a proper K and new keygen maybe. Or we'll be unable to update.

Trilian and Keyscape the same, except the patch update seems ok to use for those 2 only.

The Keygen is still valid. Run Spectrasonics KeyGen.exe and press PATCH. Go to the window that opens along the path where you installed / updated Omnisphere.dll and open it in KeyGen. In a few seconds, an inscription should appear in KeyGen: Patched successfully!
Without closing KeyGen, press PATCH again and select Omnisphere.dll from the path C: \ ProgramData \ Spectrasonics \ plug-ins \ 64bit. Close KeyGen. It worked perfectly.

The main thing is to patch Omnisphere once it's done you can use Trilian and Keyscape inside Omnisphere

Download the previous version, I got my hardware id, I copied it to a file (it's something you will want to keep for future updates) then install this version and patch the vst and au files and voila
