I'm just curious... Why is Waves still updating V11 when V12 is out? What version is everyone using here??

IDK why developers insist on breaking project compatibility by changing the plugin name. Like Waveshell11x64 and so on. Just name the shit Waveshell so that whenever a new version comes out people can open older sessions.

i updated to CATALINA, and now, i'm getting , WAVES HEAD TRACKER IN MY DOCKS, IT CANT BE TURNED OFF, SO HOW DO I DEAL WITH THAT. anyone help

Hello guys,

i have an odd question about the installation process of this package here.
I didn't see a readme text file, so i installed it right out of the folder.

I didn't know that mac users should place the extracted waves folder into an subfolder,
and then continue with the installation process. I saw that later.

So everything went right, all plugs are there and running. But i wonder if
i have any disadvantages over putting the waves folder into the subfolder
during the installation, or installing it right out of the folder i extracted from the .rar files.

That little thing makes me crazy insane, i just installed my MacBook new with Mojave.
so anyone can make any comment about this.

p.s. thanks for the great plugin package. liked waves plugins since i started recording.

Still with the shiity patch which causes the Host to crash if you use studio rack. once you close the GUI, ths shit crashes the host instantly. It has been that way eversince v11 was released. Happens on Catalaina as well as Bigsur.

Is it working on Mac Big Sur?

I'm on mac mojave, logic updated.
i have tried studio rack, with presets, and have closed it
several times. here it is working. or do you mean in standalone mode?
what specs you have.

does anyone have an answer to my install question above maybe?

on big sur i have no idea if its working, i stayed on mojave,
cause my audio engineering teacher advised me to stay on mojave
as long as possible, because plugin wise.

Plz help! Installes some Waves Plugins offline. But it asks for licences. Some of them showing up in Plugin Manager but not validated? Can anyone help? What i am doing wrong ? Using Catalina and Logic!

if they are not validated in logic, mark them all in plugin manager and click rescan.
this helped in my case.

instructions if you didn't see it:

1. Go to waves folder and Install Waves Central and Run
2. Select Offline Installer and Click Install from an Offline Installer
3. Browse the Waves folder you downloaded (For Mac Users, move folder to "Users/yourname/public/")
4. Select the plugins you like and Install!
5. Apply patch and Enjoy

studio rack crash black screen I do not understand anything

On windows, I don't understand how to move past the offline installer. I click "install from an offline installer" and go in to the files i downloaded and tried all of them but nothing happens when I click okay. Is there a specific file in one of the many files and folders?

Can someone tell me how to keep this from updating to the latest version? I'm still using Sierra and I don't want to have to update my whole OS just to install two little plugins.
