It says you need to do that to get more presets. If you needed to login to make the vst work it wouldn't be a proper crack.

now that i've put a bunch of guitar plugins side by side this week (th-u, helix, gr6, mercuriall, scuffham, kuassa 360, bluecat's), i'm finding that - even though this bias one sounds really nice, it uses a ton of cpu.. the th-u one sounds, afaict, just a rich and great as bias. but with a fraction of the cpu use. so i think it wins, as far as my tests go. i'd say, if you don't wish to deal w create an account for this, i recommend just use the latest th-u plugin.

give a go to those made by plugin-alliance too, they have a bunch of ENGL, MESA and some other stuff...they defo sound better than TH-U if you stick with these models when comparing, but THU is certainly way more versatile ... so use both!

just use an older version from VR or get an R2R release. I'm using a much older VR version it works great, sounds amazing and does what I need so I don't bother to update it, This is my weapon of choice for live use at jam sessions, it's dependable and always consistent. I don't care if others don't like it , they are entitled to express their own opinions.

Which version are you using? Because I was using the one released around May and it started producing a loud noise from time to time and showing a DEMO message :(

just crack it again when it does that. or uninstall and reinstall and block the .exe from the firewall. it worked from me.

I just found out if you install this release, then uninstall all an reinstall the 2.1.9 you still get all the extras while not having to login to positive grid. Do that.
