First of all (if you have legit Steinbug installs) backup the file: SeLicenser.sel (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Syncrosoft) or OSX location (above) but you can always reinstall your legit (ie dongle) license by deleting and choosing maintenence. The two things (soft licenses and "hard" dongle licenses) are totally separate. Anyway, to be safe, you can remove your dongle before installing.

The fake soft eLicenser will just register all (seemingly) licenses for an extended period (2080 =) I would advise you install the latest (something like 6.12) fake sEl version, and ensure that the soft elicenser is up to date beforehand, although it's (something like) 6.11. Your antivirus might quarantine the fake licenser, so beware of that, whitelist. Also, not having a recent enough ("legit") sEl might throw up problems with connecting to the Steinbug Hub (if you use it?) Use the Steinbug download manager to download everything you want to try.

Watch out for demos of "hard" (dongle) things when / if they appear. You will likely have to turn off the fake licenser, install (ie) Cubase 11, buy it and register, then turn on the fake sEl again. This is an issue with Steinbug, and their scattergun approach to their own software availability. I got accused of "piracy", because Steinbug let me download C10.5 etcs a couple weeks before it was supposed to be officially available! XD

XD I think if you put your PC / OSX clock forward 100 years (before running the fake licenser) it might allow for slightly more usage. Unless you expect to live much longer. I'd recommend changing your username to Alucard or smthn? :D

One question though, if you know about it: Steinberg will not "see" the fake soft licenses in the customer account? I am asking because in the online "My Steinberg" login area all licenses of the customer are usually listed, and I wonder if the eLicenser on the computer will sync the soft license information to the online account, which will of course bust you potentially.
Anyone tried this and can confirm this is not happening?

if your legit elicencer is registered and you install this, licences will be available in your steinberg account... Don't do that....Don't ask me how do i know that.

Thanks for sharing this info. So using the VR fake elicenser is a 100% no go if you are a legit user with a registered account.

You can use this with legit stuff, as long legit licenses are separate and within USB dongle and V.R licenses on Soft eLic.
You are good to go.

For Cubase and other DONGLE protections there is just one solution that can work, and i have said like a trillion times i think.
To make that possible someone have to make keygen with legit serial \ licence code then to emulate licence install like Team AiR has done with old Arturia releses etc.
So we can install licence on physical USB dongle that we need to buy which is not a lot money about 30 USD ... all other k'ed solutions and patching are out of question for now, i guess.

I guess V.R can do that script, since he has reworked and progressed old way and so far this is the very best emulation ...
He just need to find how to install them on USB, and job is done for good.... Then Cubase will be like Spectrasonics is with trillian keygen still working without flaws like legit one...

I think there is no ANTi TRIAL involved in this release nor time change ,which is amazing....
If that is the case, VR is on good path to make new history !
