That Arturia licences are from old releases when Artura was still on elicencer , maybe 10yrs. ago. So this can not be used with Arturia's Software center...

Installed it yesterday. Works just fine. Follow instructions. I always take my original dongle out. Never had issues, also not in the past. Don't interchange things. Just run the dongle and elicenser next to eachtoher.

I did see a license for Cubase Elements 11 New Cubase coming soon?

Guys, this is absolutely insane!
It does not only contain Absolute 4 stuff, it contains almost pretty everything Steinberg ever made. Including the latest Backbone.
And it was super easy to get this working on my Mac Pro. Ist just generated the SeLicenser.sel file on a windows computer, transferred it over to my Mac to the folder specified in the .nfo and repaired it with latest eLicenser control center and it just works.
For each and everything...

I have been producing on a Mac for so many years now.
But the current development at Apple scares me to say the least.
I guess I slowly have to get used to the idea of producing on a Windows computer again. They are mich cheaper anyway.
Even the great teams like R2R seem to neglect the Mac releases a little bit to say it carefully. I’m still incredibly thankful for every Mac release from R2R, Synthic4te and also from Kleener and other smaller crackers. But it seems to get more and more complicated and the more producers change over to Windows and the lesser keep using the Mac, the less interesting the Mac releases get for the scene...
When I started out on the Mac back in 2006 when Apple changed to Intel the Mac scene suddenly exploded. These were great times. But they have long gone. And meanwhile I have to buy every plugin as there is no (current) version available here. Well that’s the times changing...

i wasn't able to get this working on Win 7 x64 ultimate.. and i was only doing The Halion 6 applications.. the Halion_Application_6.4_Installer_win.exe crashes everytime i try to run it.
I have restarted multiple times, not running any antivirus, etc, but the installer crashes after it decompresses the setup app
I did manage to install the Free HALion Sonic SE_3.1.10 and the Electronik Sound Lab Granulus v1.0 for Halion Sonic SE3 app that i downloaded here and got that working, but the GUI is a bit cut off on my laptop screen.. no way to resize it...
There is nothing really special about that app.., even Reaktor 5.9 has far more interesting granular apps.

i can truly say that steinberg makes shit software.. with horrible, clunky and outdated GUIs and buggy software. It is no wonder that despite being a pioneer company in electronic music, they have gotten their ass kicked in the marketplace by newer companies like Native Instruments, Ableton, Arturia, etc
I wanted to check out Halion 6's granular synths.. but i can't even do that in trial mode LOL

PS. I actually sent an email to [email protected] about their app crashing and lo and behold, they actually automatically opened a tech support ticket for my issue.. so let's see what happens with that

a bit tedious, but everything finally works transferred over to mac. That said, these products seem quite dated and there are way better interfaces and sounds out there especially considering the huge size of all these libraries, but it's still nice to have and fool around with.
