When Smiley is happy, it basically boosts hi & low frequencies of your mix and master; when is getting sad, it filters them instead. Regarding that secret sauce, I can’t tell what else is doing besides eq, I didn’t test it too much.

Smiley is available in VST3 (Windows) and VST3/AU (macOS) plugin formats. In Windows, the default folder for VST3 plugin is C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3.
