That is what i think. Yesterday (April 1st) I tried (to install the .7730 from Oct 2018 and found it was already stuck in demo (I had been using an older version but was doing a new DAW setup).
It seems every time I install something, it prompts a release !!
In the past 3 days it has happened 3 times, and it is freaking me OUT!

It is a beta version. Meaning u-he fixed some bugs, but fixing bugs can introduce new ones, so until it is conformed that it is 100% stable and without any regressions, the official version will stay v2.8.0.7422.

Well I found that the setup can be extracted with inno setup extractor.
I see the presets folder is 516 M... so I look .. wow 20K files in the presets
It's a hefty package, and nice to have all in one shot
If there is a bomb, it is still great to have this package! Thanks!
