Nope, they run side-by-side fine for me. Although they did have the same disto.dll filename. I renamed v2 to disto_v2.dll, but you could do disto_s.dll as well I'm sure. Reaper displays v2 as "Disto" and this one as "Disto-S".

nope, plugin doesn't show up even after reboot. (I've go disto v2 installed which runinng fine though)

FIRST STEP: DON'T use the AU plug contained in the compressed file.
SECOND STEP: copy the VST plug on the desktop,
THIRD STEP: Change the final wording of the plug from .vst to .component (as this: Disto-S.component)
FOURTH STEP: put the modified plug in the components (AU) folder.
FIFTH STEP: Launch Logic X and you're done!

thats the old way of doing it on Captain Osx and doesnt work on alot of plugs including this one, rename the Au lowercase as stated below
