You cant imagine how much members have discovered freeware thanks that they were posted here.

But homepage must be in the post as a rule, so you can visit developer's page and download from there if you prefer.

You don't download them one by one. You just select them within your account settings on the webpage and the integrated download manager of VCV-Rack fetches them for you. There is really no point in touching single plugins in any way.

Download from github is only necessary when you want to modify the sourcecode in any way or rebuild them and that's nothing "normal" users will do.

in a perfect world - but as it stands there are many plugins that don't yet work 100% through the download manager. So we have to use the manual method of install for many for now.
