But there aren't any? I downloaded a link just in case it was bundled with the Mac version but there's an .iso file with only a .pkg file inside?

Previously i had R2R version of Arturia synths and effects, and i always downloaded presets with a different installer, now i have VR installed with almost all the presets already inside the bundle but this is not present, i never needed Arturia Software center to install a preset pack before so i never opened it, since i don't want to risk to loose the entire installation, is it safe to open it and install this presets pack in this way? 'cause probably Arturia Software center will call home as soon as i open it, i don't even know where to put this package to show up on Software Center to be able to install it and i'm not sure if Software Center is installed because of VR bundle or because of Microfreak that i purchased, if anyone has R2R or VR version installed please let me know, thanks.

I'd humbly suggest you to install VirtualBox and a VM OS for all the testing and possibly browsing. I find it indispensable having a W7 in VM for testing installations, downloading from dodgy sources etc. It feels really nice to have an OS that you can/can't ruin, cos whatever you do you can go back to the last "snapshot" and the VM OS starts in 2 sec from it. Ok, thanks for the tip but it was just the wrong link, the other one has the single folders with the presets, no installation needed, no Arturia Software Center needed, my bad.

I don't think this (or any of the other extra bank installers) have anything to do with Arturia Software Center. It just drops the presets directly into whichever Arturia instrument folders they're supposed to go into. I've installed a few preset banks, some third-party, and they've never involved the Software Center, even across multiple versions of the instruments and/or Software Center.

EDIT: For someone else looking for the answer... I closed out of my DAW then deleted the 3 db.* files located in C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets . Relaunched, the DB recreated, and Synthopedia there now.

Pardon my stupidity here, but I can't seem to figure out how to install this properly in Windows. I took the Presets/Samples folder and dropped them in c:\ProgramData\Arturia (which already exists, and has presets/samples within there). I then opened up Reaper and opened Arp2600 V3, but I'm not seeing Synthopedia in there at all, or these individual samples. I tried some other of the Arturia synths, and not seeing any Synthopedia presets under "My Banks", or when I search for individual presets.

Do I need to do something else to get the VSTs to be updated with the new presets?
