If having problems importing theses banks, Just make sure you have run Synclavier as administrator.
After importing the synx banks you will find them compiled at this address. C:ProgramData/Arturia/Presets/Synclavier V/User

With omnisphere and halion 6, the V-collection is my top 3 most inspirational vstis EVER.
14'000 omnisphere presets (+ at least 10'000 from 3rd party) + 5'500 halion6 presets + 6'000 V collection presets = over 30'000 presets. If we play each preset 5 to 10 seconds, it would take over 60 to 120 hours to preview everything :)

When we launch the Analog lab instrument, it is very hard to find 1 sound among the +6000 that isn't super inspirational. And when we start stacking those elements.. ohh boy..

Most people believe the V collection is just 100% sample based , with sampled waveforms as oscillators... when the reality is, it is 100% pure synthesis madness.

And when your digital plugin allows importing hardware presets...you know how close to the original it is.

Again, thanks for these banks/presets.

And PEOPLE, please TRY the V-collection. You won't regret it ! Clearly, a huge effort was put into the sound design.

Er ... isn't the Fairlight CMI supposed to be sample-based, at least?!? Like the actual hardware instrument?!? I think everybody else who's ever used the VIs took Arturia at their word when they claimed the other instruments were modeled, rather than sampled, although I'm sure some IR work was done to emulate the vintage circuitry properly.

My dear Audiozmate. You were spot on for identifying Omnisphere and the V Collection as must-have VIs. But if you're using HALion6 as your sampler INSTEAD of Kontakt, then you're not treating yourself very nicely IMHO. As much as you might like HALion's workflow or its GUI, it's nowhere NEAR as powerful as Kontakt regarding the sheer number of third-party developers/libraries that use it. And I'm not even talking about sound quality which is most likely better on Kontakt also though I can't say that for sure because I haven't used HALion in so many years. I'm just guessing that Steinberg is probably pretty busy developing their DAWS and expanding the VST protocol compared to Native Instruments which probably has a much larger team of geeks SOLELY devoted to their number 1 product. But the MAIN thing again is the INSANE number of popular and powerful libraries that are on the Kontakt platform. I'd advise you to drop HALion IMMEDIATELY.
Learn how to make tight, radio-ready mixes with the STOCK plugins in your DAW. After that, THEN you can horde out!

Ok Your install file says different then what is on my machine.
win 7. This is the location that the previous files installed to.

C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets\Synclavier V\Factory

I am not trying to be a butt head on this just posting the info for other people.
