A. It is the old way of saving presets, Saved as an audio recording.

A. It can be heard and is safe to listen to, And can only program the Prophet-600 when set up as detailed below

IMPORTANT: YOU WILL NEED AN ACTUAL PROPHET-600 HARDWARE SYNTH

1. turn on your prophet 600

2. connect a cable from your audio player line out to the prophet 600 Cassette IN socket

3. press the prophet 600 RECORD button so it is active

4. on your audio player, play the Prophet 600 presets data_DHJ.wav file. You now have 5 seconds of sync tone in which to press the FROM TAPE button on your prophet 600. The prophet 600 will take about 40 seconds to load them, On completion it will enter into auto tune & return you to your newly loaded 100 presets.

*HOW TO BACK UP PRESETS*

1. turn on your prophet 600

2. connect a cable from your audio recorder line IN to the prophet 600 Cassette OUT socket

3. press the prophet 600 RECORD button so it is active

4. Start Recording with your audio device.

5. Press the TO TAPE button. The control panel will go dark, except the TO TAPE LED will remain lit.

6. The prophet 600 will take about 40 seconds to save, On completion the FROM TAPE LED blinks, You may now stop audio recording.
