...::: SEPARATE FORMATS! :::...

'Hybrid Drum & Bass' is a dark, dirty, genre-bending sample library from the future. This extraordinarily dark, detailed and downright hard-hitting sample pack from producer EVAC is packed full of incredibly detailed drums and percussion loops, filthy distorted basslines, tearing Reece leads, dark atmospheric drones and an essential collection of one-shot drums, atmos and effects samples.

In need of intricate and inspiring Drum & Bass, half step and Dubstep loops and samples?

Picking up where EVAC's previous library "Contrast" left off, this sample pack has been painstakingly crafted using an experimental fusion of bizarre field recordings, old-school hardware and the heaviest of analogue post processing.

With over 750 MB of skittish percussive loops, filthy lead lines, speaker-shaking sub bass, moody atmospherics and crunchy, layered drum sounds, the pack is ideal to use in a variety of genres including Techno, Drum & Bass, IDM, Dubstep and Grime.

All loops, one-shot samples and sampler instrument presets are 100% royalty-free and available to download in 24-Bit WAV, ACIDized WAV, Apple Loops and REX2 Loops. All formats come pre-loaded with playable sampler instruments for Maschine, EXS24, Ableton Sampler, Motu Mach5, Kontakt, Sternberg Halion, SFZ and Reason NN-XT.

Product Contents:
• 765.1 MB
• 239 Loops
• 164 One-Shots
• Sampler Instruments for Maschine, Kontakt, EXS24, NN-XT, Halion, SFZ, Mach 5 & Ableton Sampler

totally n00b question here, but here it goes: which one should I pick if I want to use Kontakt formatted instruments?
Thank you for all your hard work. I appreciate it.

Well you can go for the WAV files since that's simply an audio file. Also Kontakt can read rex files but it can't make them since it's Propellerhead's proprietary format. However it can save them in a format compatible with Kontakt. You can use any of these in any sampler though including your DAW. Battery supports all these formats as well. The sampler is inconsequential really since any decent product would support most of them right out of the box. You could download any of them.

If your DAW is Studio One -> I'd pick REX. You can just drag it into your project and the REX-Drums will follow your song tempo (No sampler really needed).

But: Also working with WAV-files can be usable in some situations (set the tempo to the WAV file. think its a right click on the Audio-File in Studio One). With the right-click on an audio-file you can also speed your smaple up or down.

(Don't know about other DAW's, but maybe they can do similar)

Just play around and see what happens :-)
