Sun/Sets: Dream R&B was created in collaboration with guitarist Greg Matthews, a Brooklyn-based music producer and songwriter who performs as Yellow Shoots. He laid down guitar arrangements that range in style from pop to psych-rock, from soul to R&B. Then the Splice Originals production team layered some Astra synth keys and drums on top. The result is a suite of dreamy, glittery sounds sure to make any head bop, drawing influences from dream pop acts like Mac Demarco and Teen Daze to R&B artists Jazmine Sullivan and Jai Paul.
