The ‘60s and ‘70s had gospel music that was so synonymous with the popular soul and R&B of the time that it became the soundtrack for a part of American history. Mostly in the Civil Rights era and beyond, gospel soul was a sound that often vocalized a struggle and put music to a movement.

Beloved is a special release on our Sound Doctrine label that highlights authentic and original loops full of tape-saturated guitars, organs, and raspy soul vocals.
