CinePerc CORE is the first of four components that make up our CinePerc library; the next installment of the popular “Cine” series that includes CineBrass and CineWinds. Like those libraries, CinePerc was recorded at the SONY Scoring Stage in Los Angeles, and mixed by master engineer Dennis Sands.

This CORE library brings you the bread and butter of the orchestral percussion section – generally instruments that were standard in pre-20th Century scores. This set of instruments will cover a large part of your day-to-day orchestral percussion needs. And because we recorded these samples at Sony, they will blend perfectly with CineBrass and CineWinds, allowing you to get as close as possible to that full orchestral Hollywood sound. CinePerc breaks new ground in the addition of a new “LFE/SUB” channel. All of the instruments requiring this additional low-end boost were mixed by Dennis Sands to contain this channel. So, for those of us with a surround and sub setup, you can send this LFE/SUB channel to your sub. Add that to the QUAD mix, and you have a near-final mix for large movie theaters. Along with the LFE channel (on most instruments), CinePerc adds in the standard Full Mix from Dennis Sands, Close, Overhead, Mid Room, Room and Surrounds. When the LFE is created (for the low frequency instruments) the Room and Surrounds transform into a QUAD Front and QUAD rear channel creating a perfect 4.1 environment specifically remixed by Dennis Sands. Check out the link below to see how different microphone positions can drastically change your mix, this also highlights how versatile our library can be. Dear Users of this website,

this is Anne from Cinesamples - yes, the company you all so willingly steal from. Let me tell you two thing right here:

1)
All of our products are watermarked and contain a tracking system on top of the Native Instruments registration. We do not hesitate to prosecute people stealing from us and if you google it you will see that we have won those fights in front of court in the past. I would strongly advise you to not download anything from this website and if you have already done so, delete the product from you machines. We have already tracked down the uploader and he will have to deal with severe consequences, not just from us but from all the other companies which we informed of course.

2)
Reading your comments above makes me and every developer over here sick to our stomachs. I don't expect you to realize how many months of work, how much sweat and tears go into the production of a sample library. But I do expect you to know what's right and wrong. Stealing from small companies like ours (yes, most sampling companies consist of 2-5 people) equals taking away our salary after we worked 12-15 hour days for months to give you the most amazing products we can produce. And even then, we try to make our products more available to everyone through sales and discounts. Yet, it seems that you think our work should just be for free. Do you think SONY MGM Scoring Stage doesn't cost money? That the musicians play for free? That the thousands of samples record and edit themselves? You must be under that impression because otherwise I cannot see how a halfway decent human being can steal from us like that and even brag about it.

Sincerely,
Anne

Anne1987,

I have made music with pirated programs, samples, & instruments for as long as I can remember & at no point I made ANY MONEY or anything from it. I make music because I LOVE making music. I'm not rich, I have a low paying job & I can't afford to spend hundreds or sometimes thousands of dollars. I want to use the best sounds that I can, and if I'm not making money from any of it, I personally do not see anything wrong with it.

Period.

Your business makes samples libraries for professionals, artists, recording studios, movie studios, etc. They are the people that pay for things, because they are profiting from it.

If you want to attack people, find the ones who are profiting from your hard work. Otherwise, don't try to demonize music lovers & aspiring musicians such as myself & others on this site. We LOVE the work your company & many other companies like yours do, if we could afford to buy your stuff, we would.

Sorry guys my 7 year old computer was acting up so it took me a little while to get here:

Anne I'm actually going to need a moment to respond to you because right now you sound like the Red Queen computer from Resident Evil and I'm a little taken aback. However rest assured that I will respond. Before I do I was wondering if there's a demo of your library that I can test to see if it fits my needs and workflow. Please post info for me here because I'm genuinely interested. Thank you.

I'm having trouble extracting this. While I am extracting the mgn-cinscor.rar files, I get an error message on pert 99. It seems to have downloaded the samples, but not the instruments. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks.
