Update for the ultra real-sounding/dark-powered virtual electric guitar from Prominy. The true Metal sound of ESP Alexi Blacky with EMG humbucker pickup. Also included are the MIDI from the demo tracks.

  • Minor fixes

  • Mute sample length control (palm mute can be tightened/loosened)
  • Legato slide and gliss down sample volume can be controlled with MIDI CC# 43
  • Minor fixes

  • The Auto Sustain stops when DAW (sequencer) stops
  • Samples can be tuned down to -5 semi tones (as low as drop G) via Global Controller or MIDI CC# 27
  • Key = top note mode is added to 4th-dyad chord
  • Full size (165 mm octave span) Play Key & Instrument Select Key Switch chart (V-METAL_full_size_key_switch_chart_default.pdf and V-METAL_full_size_key_switch_chart_user.pdf in the Documentation folder)
  • Minor fixes

I guess you actually have to do something to get criticized. I'm debating contacting Rappy to find out why in the world he would vote down an eagerly awaited virtual guitar update because it's beyond my ability to rationalize. You're absolutely right, people are strange. It just sucks when you know that you prepared this post instead of getting some sleep, took a lot more time and effort to put it up than the second it took to vote it down. I'm not even getting into how much work HORiZON must have spent on it. Private AudioZ is like Shangri-La that mystical city surrounded by fog somewhere in the distance. cant get this to work, I downloaded the fully library applied the update and tried to load it in latest R2R Kontakt 5.4.2 It just crashes. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Not sure because I don't have this installed at the moment and it'll be a while before I do because there's never a shortage of things to do here. Perhaps someone else can assist?

thanks for replying. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. I didnt receive any errors unraring but maybe something still got screwed up during the DL. I also double checked my version of kontakt just to be sure. I would really like to get this one going. I just downloaded a cello library and it worked.

See I think that's an important thing remember. Things fly at us so quick in the contemporary world that we rarely slow down anymore and really focus, in our mind we're already working on the next task. I do it too, you have to working here. Glad you got it resolved man because it's a nice update.

I'm beginning to suffer from option anxiety.
I think my ram is a little slow too because when I load this Kontakt seems like it's crashing, at first it freezes for a few minutes and doesn't show the loading progress bar until a few minutes later. If you mess with it too much during that time you can make it crash. My lowly i5 will have to be upgraded this year.

any suggestions on any other libs similar to this? Is this the best rock/metal guitar library? This is the only one I've seen like this, most of the guitars around seem to be acoustic.
