FANTASTiC | 24 March 2020 | UPDATE ONLY: 37 MB | FULL: 92.6 GB
CinePerc is the World's Most Composer-Friendly Percussion library, spanning orchestral, auxiliary, ethnic and larger-than-life rhythmic instruments. CinePerc was recorded at the SONY Scoring Stage in Los Angeles, and mixed by master engineer Dennis Sands. CinePerc is four libraries in one, containing all content from the original CORE, PRO, EPIC and AUX libraries. Special upgrade paths exist for existing customers of those individual libraries. Check your user area for more information!

WHAT'S NEW IN V1.2
MERGING PRIOR LIBRARIES
CinePerc as a whole is now represented by one library, rather than four (Core, Pro, Aux, Epic). All instruments are clearly organized into a new folder structure which helps the user instantly identify which type of sound they are looking for (for instance Metals, Melodic, Ethnic, etc.). The original instruments have also been preserved in their own folder labeled '08 LEGACY'.

KONTAKT PLAYER COMPATIBLE
CinePerc does not require you to purchase any additional sample playback software, and is licensed to work with Native Instrument’s free Kontakt Player. Now all you need is a sequencer like Logic, Cubase, Digital Performer, LIVE, or Pro Tools, and you’ll be up and running.

ORCHESTRAL ENSEMBLE PATCH
The brand new "CinePerc Orchestral Percussion Ensemble" patch is comprised largely of instruments from the '01 ORCHESTRAL' folder, giving the user a complete orchestral percussion pallet underneath their fingers. Intuitively mapped, this patch makes creating orchestral percussion mockups quick and easy. Detailed mapping info can be found in the User Manual.

RE-MAPPING
The entire line of CinePerc instruments have been remapped in order to create a consistent and intuitive layout for the user. Non-chromatic instruments have now been centered around middle C on the keyboard, so the user knows instantly where to begin upon loading a new instrument and playing. Other small tweaks have also been added for ease of use, such as several instruments being split out to their own patch for clarity sake (for instance different mallet types, different snare drums, etc., now each have their own patch).

Changes: There is no change information for this release/version.

how exactly is the iso connected, or was something patched out?

It doesn't seem possible to get a hold of the iso when registering the library update as the CinePerc library. Or trying to get a demo version of it somewhere

The major difference between 1.2 and 1.3 is the rearranging of the instruments. In an effort to get people to spend more money, cinesamples combined their four percussion libraries into one library, thus removing the option for anyone to buy the library that has the percussion they are looking for and charging more money for the full percussion library instead. Its unfortunate since it is now more challenging to find instruments because they are not sorted by the 4 different categories anymore, and also unfortuante because there is only one of the four libraries that are a must for any composer wiriting orchestral music (the other three are highly situational).

Having said that, this is a must have percussion library, it is one of the percussion libraries that I would argue falls into the, "if you have this, then you are set on this instrument genre". Cineperc, strikeforce, amd hans zimmer cover all of your percussive needs, with this library covering some of the more obscure percussion such as woodblocks.

Do you own a CinePerc Legacy product? You should have received an email with an upgrade code. If not, check your user area, or contact customer support at [email protected].

quote by littlewierdoIts unfortunate since it is now more challenging to find instruments

This is WAY easier!! Before, you had to guess in which of the 4 libraries a n instrument might be in... now, it's logical... metals, melodic, woods, ethnic. How much easier could this be??!!

IF we have the old libraries, is it necessary to re-dl the whole thing? Or is there a way to use the pre-existing samples?

If you have v1.2 you just need update files. There is no new samples in v1.3.

Internet is being colapsed this days due to state of alarm caused for COVID-19 here in Spain ...
PLEASE, I´m asking to the audioz members to not download or upload this king of big libraries until the situation turns again into normality ...

Let's put our little grain of sand to alleviate the situation

Thank´s to all of you in advance.
Peace
