After 3 month being locked in the lab, Red Sounds are back with a powerful tool – Vox Engine 2. First generation of Vox Engine was a real hit, but this time the bar raised to a new level. Vox Engine 2 is bigger, better and has more interesting and useful controls. Still, this Kontakt library is very simple to operate.

Make catchy vocal melodies and motives or layer these chops with synths for making unique sounds. Make chord progressions or textures in polyphonic mode.

GENRES:

This library was inspired by producers and DJs like Diplo, Jack U, Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, Marshmello, but Vox Engine 2 will perfectly fit almost any genre: Future Bass, Trap, Pop, Hip-Hop, Future House, Deep House, Future RnB, you name it…

Scroll throw 130 carefully shaped presets and you will definitely find gems for your next project. But if this is not enough, make your own vocal chops and edit them easily with new Vox Engine 2 GUI.

All sounds used in this library are recorded and processed in Red Sounds studio, so they are 100% Royalty free.

HOW THIS LIBRARY WAS MADE:

Professional session singers were invited to record samples for Vox Engine 2.

Most of the vocals were recorded with 2 microphones to make them sound more 3D-mentional. (Of course, you can choose witch mic you prefer by turning all the way to the right or left, or use both).

As a producer myself I used Vox Engine all the time so I realized what improvements could be made and what sounds first Vox Engine lacks.

SO, THESE NEW FEATURES WERE ADDED:

•Polyphony – make chords form any preset.
•Vibrato – add vibrato and edit vibrato speed.
•Stutter – add stutter effect, edit stutter speed and width.
•Delay – edit delay level and time.
•Chorus – make your chops wider and bigger.

All controls and important info are included in the user manual.

Chipmunk voices? Seriously? You people like this? WTF ever happened to singers who emote, who give their music definition through the their vocal characteristics? Jesus wept! If this is where technology has brought us from the late 60's I despair.
We can't dance, we don't talk much, we just ball and play, then we move like tigers on vaseline

This is exactly the same type of reaction when they started using effects pedals on guitars, when synthesizers were starting to become mainstream and when people started producing on pc's. It's not only about the voice/singers anymore. Today's music is so much more than just a band or a man with a guitar. Btw this isn't right place for this discussion anyway.

That's a very pretentious opinion you've got from up there on your high horse. While some of my favorite music of all time is over 50 years old at this point, I think it's very silly to compare anything from that era to the type of music something like this tool would be used to make

Not all music needs to have a vocalist imparting all their gross characteristics and emotions all over everything, sometimes it can just be fun and dumb.

Look at it this way. If you totally ignore the labeling of this thing as having anything to do with vocals/vox, but as another unique sound generator, problem solved!

Older people in the 60's said the same thing about rock n roll. The new hype is always the one that is most hated by the people who grew up under something else.

Is this a great tool? Not for everyone. But some people will find use for it. Will you like what they make with it? Maybe not. It's their music. You make your music, and they will make theirs. People like their future bass music.
But chipmunk voices? Not sure it's even voices. Maybe chipmunk farts? LOL.
On a side note, if you want something like this, EVOXA is a way better alternative.
After 3 month being locked in the lab. Red Sounds are back with a powerful tool

A lab or a satanic dungeon? LOL

All in all, I was able to fit this into one song. Not sure if I will use it again. Probably not. Probably just delete it.
