How about only Close Mic? that will drastically decrease the size.

Yup not downloading this. Keyscape was bad enough

How is it related to Keyscape?

I think Blazin is just talking about the quality of Keyscape, generally :D

Actually I was just referring to the size of the download. I have so many grand pianos and not enough hard drive space lol

Heh. Yeah, I know! Thx for mentioning Keyscape, tho. Turns out I had 2 (!) backups of it, which gave me just enough room to dl this!

If anyone wants to know what Kontakt buffer size works for this on HD, I found ~ 66Kb works ok. Means main PG is ~ 2Gb w/ 4 mics.

PG Sounds ok, sympathetic resonance is totally borked & the "sensitivity" thing is misleading. Takes a while to find a good setup & it's quite fussy / needlessly complimacated. It's totally annoying to not have sampled sustains, also D: guess Hammersmith is miles ahead, still. Ditto Imperfect Samples. And a few others...

the most ridiculous piano library and users in audio world, why not buy a true piano
what i need is short true things not 40cm fake stick hh
the biggggggger is better

Why not buy a Yamaha C7 Concert Grand piano? Hmmmmmm.... let me see. I don't have room for one. I don't have $30,000 in the bank. If I did have one it probably wouldn't sound as well recorded with my one Shure SM57. Now about the 40cm fake stick, I really have nothing to say.

yes but who needs C7? actually its not piano just a big huge 3D 40cm wood waste produced by those from furniture industry inject 40cm stick to music industries, a studiologic or nord piano was enough for production

I can say that I am not disappointed by this piano despite it being "wood waste" according to our friend m9cao who I gather has no knowledge of pianos. If he cannot make a contribution to the dialogue about this library he should find somewhere else to express himself. I am very pleased, that despite the size of this, it's a very enJoyable and lively piano to play, capable of great subtlety and power.

But 'Yamaha C7' again for all this, they love C7, surely an amazing piano, good clear and natural Demos. I hope they do the same feat with a Steinway from Hamburg, since we will not have Ravenscroft 275.
But in my humble opinion, if Yamaha Co. believed too much in their company, would never have bought the Austrian Böserdorfer.

Thanks, love so much this instrument that I want to test them all. It's an obsession, try them all. For now, my favorite lib is not one of the biggest ones, it's syntogy studio grands. Thanks again man.

In any case, I wouldn´t buy a C7. My election would be a Steinway-D-274.

This may sound like fiction but in 1981 I was at EMI studios and I got to play Elton John's Steinway. It was for a rock song and we eventually dumped the recording and went with the C7. It was so much more present. It cut through naturally.

But think about the risk 'celtic3342', if you're a famous artist, you'd take Steinway-D-274 to every show, or a Yamaha C7?

Why 114GB? Bc there is only 24 bit 96 kHz?

Thanks.

If the pianos had legatos, this would be like 1 TeraByte
Damn lol
[2009] Sorry for my English. I'm working on it

Would anyone dump any of the other huge piano libraries to make space for this one? If so which would you dump. Just curious..
