First thing first: thanks a lot for sharing this wonderful piano

- it sounds great! (at least in the video ;-) )
Now, does someone know if the music played in the video is from a known composer? ... And if it's so, who's he/she?
I like it a lot!

So, I´m proud of my ears for life. I recognize any instrument and any kind of timbre from this whole world. I perceived that when my other friends couldn't do it. Why I´m telling about my proud since if is only good for me.

When I first played this 'Steinway B', immediately I entered on YT to listen Bruce Hornsby and his music 'The Way it is', voilá, the same timbre piano.

But what, there are dozen of steinway banks we had in the past, but no one of them have the same caracteristic of Hornsby piano, far away, Ivory, Goldbaby, Berlin and all them. The reason is, that piano has a studio compression and other effects, such as low level duplication and distortion, now you have Bruce Hornsby same piano, as he record, the same exactly timbre.

The unique problem is: The Layer are bad done, if you play strong as Hornsby, will have no problem, but I don't don't if works well on classical music, because the second and third layers shout a lot when you play, it´s not smooth enough.

If you want a good Steinway for Rock and Pop, this piano is made the way it is.

Hello all!

Today, after 4 months i downloaded this i went to install it in my Mac, and ... wait, what the hell?!

So, if anyone wants to install this mess in his Mac follow these easy steps

:

01. Unzip the rar files in both parts (part 1 being a light version while part 2 being an extended (full?) version of the lib)
02. After that you'll get an image file in both folders (i.e.: a combination of bin/cue files)
03. Mount part 1 (Light version) image with Toast and copy the files there to the same folder in which the image is in your Mac
04. Drag and drop the 'Symphonic_Orchestra_Steinway_B.exe' file into KeyGen Runner (you can find it here in Audioz)
05. Choose a temporary folder in which you want to install it and click install
06. Mount part 2 (Ext. Version) image with Toast and copy the files there to the same folder in which the image is in your Mac
07. Go to the folder 'Samples' and follow the same steps as in 04-05 with the file 'Symphonic_Orchestra_Steinway_B_ext.exe'
08. At this point you'll get the two libraries in two temporary folders
09. Now join the two libs just in one folder (i.e.: sample folders + *.nki files)
----> So the new folder will contain now the two sample folders (EW_Steinway_B + SteinwayB Samples) + ALL *.nki files (14 in total)
10. Now copy the folder created in step 09. to your Kontakt libs folder and there you go!
