This is one of the most famous orchestral woodwinds sample library's but honesty this is not worth to use any more . there is no proper legato and solid articulations .

Wonderful question. The answer is: the time passed and things got old.

That time, they didn't build scripts to legatos, today we have "Adaptive Legato Tecnology", used by small companies like "Northern Scoring Tools", depending on the finger velocity attack, the speed of the 'melismatic line' changes.

But... the timbres of all "East-West QL" are perfect sampled, listen to their bassoons, such a husky amazing timbre equal to the bassoon.

Today Berlin and Spitfire and other companies have PERFECT LEGATOS on their banks, extremaly easy to use, making EWQL the past. Both Berlin and EWQL are wonderful in timbre "colours", the differences make all these even richer.

I remember when my first modules 'AKAI and Roland' had the first realistic samples for amateurs, but without legatos, rich musicains had the professional "Synclavier". Trying legatos with those modules were hard work, too much Midi CC11 volumes/expression transitions were needed, the same you need to try with EWQL.

I hope they from 'Eastwest', work on a script for these wonderful gigabytes tera banks, it´s possible and any one can do, unfortunely I don't have time for this. Personaly, I like "EWQL PLATINUM Edition", their percussion are perfect.

Is there any difference between this one and the EWQLSO gold edition? Is this version with the three mic positions?

Hey guys! thanks for the post!
Ive dowload all the files, expand the disks but i have 9 .NKS files...
place them all together in a folder. Load Kontakt 5 but Library Not Found...
How can i make it work?
