Music Services DRUMASONIC v2.0.FE Upgrade Files Only ADDON

Well... Normally we would fill this info in with the product description however this time we are going to fill it with a rant about Music Services/Drumasonic as to why they would release a library that uses a beta version of sampler software - meaning most people can't even use it even if they bought it.

It seems that along with a convoluted installation that legitimate users find confusing, most of them are still using Kontakt 5.0.2 anyway:

"I've been trying for the last hour to get the LE upgrade installed but to no avail. I followed the installation instructions perfectly, the library appears to be installed within Kontakt but whenever I try to load one of the patches I'm getting an error messages saying 'This patch is corrupt and cannot be loaded'. I don't know what the problem is but at this stage I'm scunnered"

"Daniel is trying to help get me up and running. These non-standard installs confuse the living shite out of me... and make me wanna jump off a bridge in the process. Pain in the ass. They already updated a bit of the install steps to get things going but I'm still not happening unfortunately. "

"Trying to upgrade but am finding the install process confusing. Kontakt 5 won't see the library. Hopefully someone gets back in touch soon. Really like to try these out and hate cumbersome installs. "

"Trouble with install, sent support a message. Kontakt 5 gives me "no library found" when I point it to Drumasonic 2 folder. Confusing install on a couple levels."

While we support "Try before you buy", we have to rate this one as "do not buy", as Drumasonic doesn't seem to have their shit together. As it's only been about 24 hours since this became available, we'll expect to see many more complaints over the next few days once people finish downloading from their slow ass/error-prone server:

"Downloading at a snail's pace here. However I do have the option of not staring at the download progress and doing other things like.... having a coffee, doing some laundry, making some breakfast."

Anyhow.. All that bs aside.. The fact that dev are trying to append there own personal protection methods outside of the standard Kontakt protection says allot about the future and direction of the Kontakt library in the future...

Tips to get this library to work for you

Until a cracked version of 5.0.3 is released try this

EDIT: Ok for PC users If really you want to use it with some bugs in the GUI

Replace drumasonic 2 LE - Damped Room and drumasonic 2 LE - Large Room.nki by drumasonic 2 - Damped Room and drumasonic 2 - Large Room.nki from this Upgrade.

Windows:
Save all files that have been attached to the corresponding email into any folder. Then
rename the file “Install_License_(Win)” to “Install_License_(Win).bat” and execute this
file by double-clicking it.

Mac:
Save all files that have been attached to the corresponding email into any folder. Then
execute the file “Install_License_(Mac)” by double-clicking it.

Copy "my_drumasonic_license.nka" into the Data folder.
Copy "my_drumasonic_license.nka" into C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Local\DRUMASONIC\Data
Create a folder in your documents named "DRUMASONIC".
Copy the "Data folder" in DRUMASONIC.
