hi,i uninstalled kontakt at version 6,had to reinstall windows,havent got round to reinstalling kontakt.
i still have factory library folders from earlier versions.
is there much in this library that is new from before kontakt 7?

Factory Library 2, alright. Is this just a new version of the general Factory Library or is there still a version 1, which would be good to install as well?

From searching i see:
"Kontakt Factory Library was for Kontakt 6, Kontakt Factory Library 2 is for Kontakt 7.

If you keep them both, you will have many duplicates, but also you will have many unique sounds, old and new, that exists only in one Library.

If you don't care about this, and you need to save space, then uninstall (not delete) the older library."

I have the old one installed still. It takes up about 23 Gig...but i bet if I go to load something it will be from Factory Library 2.
So maybe i should uninstall the old one.

Since I don't have any projects using the old Factory Library, uninstalling it will ensure that i never DO have any projects that require it.

In kontakt 5 was different.
