I downloaded it from Strezov Shop.
I played with it for a while but I immediately got tired. I was thinking of buying the DIAMOND Jazz Orchestra full version, but after trying... the bass sound is very poor and soulless... the piano only two layers... the saxes I didn't hear them.
SWING! by Project Sam Is much better in my opinion.

Thats a stunningly fine expansion though. Thats rare to find one product loaded with all well produced instruments like that.

Project Sam seems to be a really good brand. The Symphobia's are all nice too. But Strezov is up there. I think Strezov is generally "dryer", where Project Sam seems to have more character.

yes maybe Strezov with added ambience and reverb can be more pleasant and less dry. Project Sam is already complete and full of charm.
I really like the choirs of Strezov, but the instruments, as you say, seem too dry, without dynamics.

I've tried other Strezov products, and they sound great. But I think that something is wrong with this product, I don't know what it is, but perhaps something with the sampling, in my opinion, it is badly sampled. You realize in the saxophones, they look like toys. tried Swing! And it's good, it's not Symphobia quality, Symphobia is very realistic, even if you use the instruments on DRY, version 2 have the option to use the instruments on CLOSED. But hey, it's something else, it's designed for orchestral music.
Now with Strezov, if you listen to the sound of the promo video say "wow, this sounds amazing" then when you install it, it doesn't sound anything like the video.

I AM liking this bass. its very fretty.
Which I cant really judge for realism, but seems like the point if your going to use samples over a generated synth tone. I only use a bass sample when it offers some humanizing fretty "slop".

The only "unfortunate" thing is that its only two octaves. which a lot of sampled instruments usually are. But its special if you can get more then that.

Its sounds like your playing a sample. Not completely synth ersatz, but doesn't really seem like your going to fool somebody that that your playing an actual Saxamaphone.

To anyone comparing it to Swing!, you seem to disregard the fact that both of them are for COMPLETELY different styles.

Swing! focuses more on Big Band Music, whereas Diamond Jazz Orhestra seems more fitting for a more "straight-foward" kind of jazz music and pop (says their website).

As for the lack of octave/layers, it IS a freebie, a demo version. Meaning the full version will have more than what we actually have.

Please, let's not juge a book by it's cover
