Universe of Sounds is not an AKAI CD. It's a Roland S-550 format, but I couldn't open it in any program like Chickensys Translator or Kontakt 4.1.3 (it crashes!!!)

Are you sure it's not the original CDROMs for Emulator II or for Emax I/II?

Actually I havn't tried universe of sounds. But it's in my Akai folder. Did u try Extreme sample converter?? Can't help here maybe mm4free she's used it before.
