I tackled this in another post. These companies are *usually just making sure they get a cut if your song is released on a major label or is all over the the radio all of a sudden [see: White Iverson.] Private use is--again, *usually--construed as small-time mixtapes, beat tapes and anything that isn't on a major label or on a mass scale. A good example of how *most packs royalties work is Illmind compositions; he requests a cut if the song is released on a major label, other than that though, you can use it for basically anything. Pretty straight forward and simple.
At the end of the day, most of these companies--if they are actually legit companies, not the newest kids on the block tryin to make a quick buck on producers with some corny-ass kit--are pretty cool with negotiating with you and often times will just waive their cut. Basically, if you don't make Waka Flocka's newest Billboard hit with stuff from their pack, you're golden.

oh my god, not royalty free for 37$ they must be drunk ! by the way this vocal pack is extremely bad and some of the vocals are flat and monotone wants me to kill myself ! (judging by the demo), so in my opinion, you should avoid purchasing from them and stop support such madness so ppl won't follow this new fashion for not royalty free "we want money from ur succeess" wtf im shocked really !
