It is not made by a technique such as delay line used for normal reverb or IR convolution. Only granular (+ diffusion). Up to 200 particles are played at the same time. Each particle has its own pitch, grain size, playback position information so that you can create a rich reverb like demo. If you think that the maximum number of particles of Mutable Instruments'Clouds is about 60, you can imagine how many of that number. This is possible because it is made only with one Gen~ object without using msp Object in the DSP part. Not only the number of particles but also UI design is precisely designed based on my own experience of sound design.The features are summarized below.
