TAL Sampler: Ghosts

Ghosts is a continuation of my fascination with imperfection of all types, the bruises and battle-scars, the ghosts and dust which are inherently missing quite often from software instruments and ITB production. I really set out to create a set of playable, imagined instruments which (hopefully) sound as if they really could, or do, exist. ALL sounds in the demo are from the pack, unedited, no other FX.

Orb Horns and Bones is the counterpart to our proof-of-concept brass library, Orb Trumpets.

We recorded the French horns and trombones in their traditional positions in the same space at Orb Studios in Austin, Texas. Aside from the obvious desire to complete the brass package (sans tuba), we wanted to see how this performance-oriented style of sampling would play out in full context.
